Brothers in Arms

I can't draw a bunch of Mario monster fan art without drawing Mario as well.

I actually had a lot of trouble with their designs. The koopa monsters have a bit more room to play with when tinkering with designs, but Mario is impossible to re-design. Other then some palette changes, the guy has pretty much stayed the same for nearly 30 years. So, I decided not to really fuss with him, and just put him in his Fire outfit.

I always picture Mario kind of as a short tempered brawler, and Luigi a bit more calm and reasonable. These thoughts are really based on nothing, but, those are the personalities I tried to portray in this drawing. (Though, the webseries "There Will Be Brawl," seems to portray them this way as well.)

I hope you guys liked this little Mario series I churned out. I've never really drawn these characters before, and they were a lot of fun to experiment with.
